ZaoZe

ZaoZe Cafe & Market opened during the pandemic in May 2020 — when inside dining was ill-advised and we wanted to offer our particular style of food in grab-n-go form. My grandmother’s roast pork buns are a staple in the steamer case, as well as Cara’s Asian slaw in kit form in the cooler, and lots of Emily’s desserts with uniquely Asian twists, all there to satisfy that urge for a sweet or savory snack. While Tao offers carefully curated menus served as a progression of plated courses, ZaoZe is designed to satisfy those of us who like to graze through meals as a progression of snacks, savory and sweet bites, and a la carte dishes in no particular order except what appetite dictates.

ZaoZe Cafe & Market has its own website and you can find out more there. ZaoZe is located at 5 Abbey Rd, set back from the street with a small sign on the road, sandwiched between the fish tanks in the basement, and the Canopy Farms greenhouse above. Open Wednesday through Sunday starting at 10am, we serve an a la carte lunch Wednesday through Saturday from 11:30AM-2:30PM and DimSum on Sundays from 11AM until 3PM. Stop by to pick-up provisions, or eat at the café. You can also order online for pick-up during our a la carte lunch hours, or grab a glass of wine while you are waiting for your table at Tao Yuan.
